Mr. Suhartono works as branch mananger in BNI bank and the most interesting thing is he works in Bank but graduated from Chemistry Engineering. he said, every people has their way to looking for the job after graduated. However, college major doesnt specify the same thing about that. we can be anything for the job. every company has training system to allow applicants from different educational background to adapt the job in that. so we can be anything depend on our passion.
Firstly, he talk about what is profesionalism and profesional. he said, Professionalism is the nature (capability, finesse) as natural which is done by a professional. Professionals are not related to the work done but cover aspects such as attitudes, behavior, quality, and expertise in working. there are some point that we should have, there are :
1. Responsibility
In the company, a profesional should has responsibility for doing everything in the work and also be responsible for making sure that people he serves and his profession doesnt harmed for his attitude and his action.
2. Proactive
Being proactive is needed to became a profesinal. a professional doesnt always wait the command, but has to initiative.
3. Learning from mistake
no one people doesnt do wrong. Avoid to be arrogant dan dodging from mistake. A profesional is people who transparant for critics that can build herself and always try to improve herself.
4. Be honest and able to trust
if once discovered that an employee can not be trusted, then fell its reputation instantly. In addition, a professional must also be able to hold the secrets that are entrusted.
